Work with an agent

An agent with the bgi-insert-design skill can turn your inventory and measurements into a checked project. The skill includes examples and schema references; the agent needs bgi on PATH to validate and build the result.

Give it the exact edition and expansions, measured box interior, complete component inventory, existing containers, and storage preferences. For example:

Use the bgi-insert-design skill to make an insert for this inventory. Put the cards in two reachable compartments and keep the existing deck box. Ask for measurements that would change the design, then give me the project YAML, the checked bundle, and a list of any unmeasured fit questions.

As the design develops, have the agent track which dimensions are measured, researched, or estimated, and where each component goes. Missing dimensions call for a targeted question or an explicitly preliminary design.

Ask for the editable .bgi.yaml, the selected solution JSON for an automatic layout, and the built bundle. The handoff should identify the commands run, summarize README.md and diagnostics, account for the inventory, and list outstanding measurements. Output and assembly explains what the bundle proves; measuring helps resolve gaps.

Use Choose and build a layout to review the proposed design yourself. Ask for changes in terms of storage and use—for example, two smaller card stacks or a player set kept together—then have the agent update the project and generate new suggestions.
